Sianowskie Centrum Wiedzy – dawniej Centrum Kultury i Biblioteka Publiczna Gminy i Miasta Sianów – to samorządowa instytucja kultury prowadzona przez Gminę Sianów. Zmiana nazwy jednostki została wprowadzona uchwałą nr LXI/446/2023 Rady Miejskiej w Sianowie z dnia 23 lutego 2023 roku.
Instytucja powstała na mocy uchwały nr XXXIX/304/2013 Rady Miejskiej w Sianowie z 27 listopada 2013 roku poprzez połączenie Domu Kultury w Sianowie oraz Biblioteki Publicznej Gminy i Miasta Sianów. Od 17 lutego 2014 roku działa w nowoczesnej siedzibie przy Placu pod Lipami 9 – obiekcie wybudowanym dzięki wsparciu Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. To miejsce o wyjątkowej architekturze, które od lat stanowi centrum życia kulturalnego, artystycznego i społecznego mieszkańców gminy i miasta.
Pod jednym dachem swoją siedzibę mają Biblioteka Publiczna i Centrum Kultury, a ofertę instytucji wzbogacają: nowoczesne Kino Zorza wraz z galerią sztuki w lobby, a także nowo otwarte Centrum Nauki, które powstało w marcu 2024 roku. To innowacyjna przestrzeń umożliwiająca dzieciom, młodzieży i dorosłym odkrywanie tajników nauki, techniki i nowoczesnych technologii w atrakcyjny i praktyczny sposób. Dodatkowo, sieć 7 filii bibliotecznych i 9 świetlic wiejskich,
Sianowskie Centrum Wiedzy to przestrzeń, w której edukacja spotyka się ze sztuką. Instytucja organizuje warsztaty, koncerty, spotkania literackie, projekty artystyczne i działania edukacyjne rozwijające kreatywność dzieci, młodzieży i dorosłych. Oferta obejmuje m.in. zajęcia muzyczne, literackie, taneczne, malarskie czy kulinarne. Celem działalności jest budowanie wrażliwości na otaczającą przestrzeń, krajobraz, zabytki i architekturę, a także zachęcanie seniorów do aktywnego uczestnictwa w kulturze.
Biblioteka Publiczna w Sianowie działa nieprzerwanie od 1948 roku. Obecnie dysponuje ponad 20 500 woluminami (z czego 80% to nowości), a jej czytelnikami jest ponad 1600 osób. Biblioteka oferuje również nowoczesne zaplecze multimedialne: czytelnię internetową, stanowiska do odsłuchu e-booków, infokioski i iPady.
Kino Zorza to miejsce, gdzie odbywają się premierowe projekcje filmowe, spektakle teatralne i koncerty. Wyposażone w nowoczesny sprzęt, dużą scenę i znakomitą akustykę, łączy tradycję „dobrego kina” z nowoczesnym repertuarem i wysokim standardem odbioru.
Centrum Nauki – otwarte w marcu 2024 roku, to nowoczesna przestrzeń edukacyjna, w której dzieci, młodzież i dorośli mogą odkrywać tajniki nauki, techniki i nowych technologii poprzez praktyczne eksperymenty i warsztaty. Centrum łączy zabawę z edukacją, rozwijając kreatywność, ciekawość świata i umiejętności STEAM w interaktywny, angażujący sposób.

Sianów Knowledge Center – formerly the Cultural Center and Public Library of the Sianów Municipality – is a local government cultural institution managed by the Sianów Commune. The name change was adopted by Resolution No. LXI/446/2023 of the Sianów City Council on February 23, 2023.
The institution was established by Resolution No. XXXIX/304/2013 of the Sianów City Council on November 27, 2013, through the merger of the Sianów Cultural Center and the Public Library of the Sianów Municipality. Since February 17, 2014, it has operated in a modern building at Plac pod Lipami 9, constructed with support from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The building’s unique architecture has made it a center of cultural, artistic, and social life for the residents of the commune and town for years.
Under one roof, the Public Library and Cultural Center have their headquarters, complemented by the modern Zorza Cinema with an art gallery in the lobby, and the newly opened Science Center, which was inaugurated in March 2024. This innovative space allows children, youth, and adults to explore the secrets of science, technology, and modern innovations in an engaging and hands-on way. Additionally, the institution manages a network of seven library branches and nine village community centers.
Sianów Knowledge Center is a space where education meets art. The institution organizes workshops, concerts, literary meetings, artistic projects, and educational activities that foster creativity among children, youth, and adults. Its programs include music, literary, dance, painting, and culinary activities. The Center aims to cultivate sensitivity to the surrounding environment, landscape, monuments, and architecture, while also encouraging seniors to participate actively in cultural life.
The Public Library in Sianów has been operating continuously since 1948. Today, it holds over 20,500 volumes (80% of which are new titles) and serves more than 1,600 registered readers. The library is equipped with modern multimedia facilities, including an internet reading room, e-book listening stations, info kiosks, and iPads.
Zorza Cinema hosts premiere film screenings, theatrical performances, and concerts. Equipped with modern technology, a large stage, and excellent acoustics, it combines the tradition of a “classic cinema” with a modern repertoire and high-quality viewing experience.
Science Center – opened in March 2024 – is a modern educational space where children, youth, and adults can explore the principles of science, technology, and new innovations through hands-on experiments and workshops. The Center combines play with learning, fostering creativity, curiosity, and STEAM skills in an interactive and engaging way.
